WORKSHOPS

METU PUD aims to empower the emerging awareness on parametric urbanism by creating a collaborative learning environment for the next generation of architects and planners interested in the new interpretations of urban design. By this motivation, the team organizes design workshops in which the creative synergy of collective thinking is steered for further explorations in form and pattern in urban context. With the strong initial will to extend that experience to both national and international level in near future, the first workshop was conducted in May 2014 at METU Faculty of Architecture. The design workshops of METU PUD are organized in the way of providing the young architects and planners with the fundamental skills of writing parametric algorithms with the basic information of urban morphology and design.
